Catelyn • Daenerys

Catelyn witnesses Stark-vs-Lannister Round 2. She remembers how she only knew Eddard for two weeks before he left for war, but that was enough time to knock her up. She has all those motherly fears of Robb dying, but she really shouldn't worry. Robb has grown a beard now, and bearded men are harder to spot and even harder to see. Robb will need it -- he's sneaking up on Jaime Lannister, who has no idea that he's coming thanks to the Seven Kingdom's version of a cell phone jammer (archers shooting birds down). I don't know why Cat is so worried. Win or lose, Robb will survive. He has a gigantic supernatural wolf protecting him.

The battle is a success, and the Starks have captured Jaime Lannister. But he's just a reckless sister-fucker. The real challenge is Tywin, who remains at large, like a child molester loose in the woods. Still, Robb beat half the Lannister army and can probably get Eddard back, as Cersei would almost certainly trade for her brother. This battle also proves that other than GREGOR, the southern knights really suck. The badass northern bearded viking men may be non-knighted, illiterate, and stubborn, but they know how to fight. Winterfell! Woooo!
____________________

Drogo is dying thanks to MMD's poison. It's painfully clear to the bloodriders and even half-retarded Drogo himself that the maegi is bad news, but Dany is a dumbass and still doesn't realize. She even calls for MMD to treat the Khal after he fell from his horse, which is apparently the biggest Dothraki signal of doom and death. Its like an Irishman dropping his mug or a Chinese kid forgetting his multiplication tables -- when it's over, you just know.

Dr. Jorah shows up and diagnoses in five seconds that Drogo is as good as dead. Jorah advises that they flee and hide in Asshair. The bloodriders get pissed and start smacking a Duur, but Dani stops them because, well, she's an idiot. Dany is starting to panic, because once Drogo dies, the bloodriders will turn on them. Incredibly, through massive, incomprehensible stupidity, Dany decides that their best shot is to let MMD perform another dark ritual. Yes, that's right -- she's essentially letting Drogo's poisoner finish the job. Jorah should just bitchslap Dany and take control, but instead he fights the bloodriders so that MMD can finish her crazy incantation. Then Dany goes into labor, and her stupidity was so great that it became contagious, infecting Jorah and her handmaids. They decide to bring Dany to MMD, because who better to deliver a baby than a clinically insane demon sorceress?

  1. Dani is a fifteen-year-old girl who still believes that if you do something good to another person (i.e. save them from rape and being sold into slavery), they will return it in kind. Can't blame her for that. She is, after all, very young, and really believes the dream that she will bear the stallion that will mount the world. She is a different version of Sansa at this point really.

  2. Dany is a 15-16 year old girl in the following series as well. You can't use age as an argument.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Age was not my sole argument. It was a factor, but she is also milk fed on day dreams and fantasies. She grows up remarkably well and balancsome forms of ed given her circumstances, but she still clings to idealism as teenage girls are want to do (in this case, the idealism is that people are grateful). But once she is shown the other side of a coin, she is not so naive and starred-eyed. She grows up fast and in wisdom.

  4. Lord, I can't type.

    **balanced given her circumstances**

  5. Well she's a completely different person following these experiences though, so I think you can use age, or more accurately her naivete

  6. You can't really call MMD Drogo's poisoner. I got the impression that the reason he didn't get better was because he stopped using her medicines and went back to the traditional Dothraki practices.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Agree, I haven't read that passage in a while, but as I remember it the reason drogo died because he (and dany) didn't follow mmd's instructions. There was no first dark ritual anywhere

  8. Jorah M.D. That's great, I can't stop laughing!!!!

  9. Well, maybe most of the Southern Knighs are weaklings. But you've got to agree Jaime is a great warrior. The way he was hacking his way through the Karstarks to get to Robb? I mean, if he had managed, he would have slaughtered the kid, and won the battle. What a killing machine.

  10. I'd agree with some of the posters above, I don't think MMD poisoned anyone, if I remember correctly Khal Drogo tore her bandage away because it was itchy or something and now the wound got infected. And because he's such a strrrrooooong man, he couldn't admit that his wound needed treatment until he was too weak to ride. So basically, this is all caused by his own stupidity.

  11. "Still, Robb beat half the Lannister army and can probably get Eddard back, as Cersei would almost certainly trade for her brother."

Looking forward to the next update >:)

  12. I always assumed that the wound got infected because he didn't listen to MMD and removed her bandage. However, I realize now I may have thought that way because Dany trusted her and since the chapter was from her view point I did as well. I think its def possible that she poisoned him, all things considered now that I think about it.

I think he's certainly justified in calling MMD Drogo's poisoner if that's his interpretation. I kinda agree a bit now myself...

  13. As an Irishman, I take offense to this post. If we're gonna pass out from drinking, it will be from whiskey, not anything in a mug!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing his reaction to the next chapter...

  16. Gray Wind would have ripped out the Kingslayers throat, Jaime's lucky that he got captured before he got near Robb.

I definitely read Dany's current predicament differently during my first read, but I guess that's just what happens. I read Jon's parentage differently on my first read then 99% of people probably did too; sometimes we're right, sometimes we're wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  17. i agree with most of the others who said mmd didn't poison him--i'm almost certain it was drogo's own bull-headedness that made him ignore her instructions and pack the wound with soothing mud (that also held in the infection)instead of letting it itch and burn as it healed.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Dany is facing a steep learning curve, I think in comparison to Sansa, so far she's doing much better, cut the little dragonette some slack. After all, not every sheltered young girl in this series can be Arya.

I remember being really surprised at how easily Jaime was captured. I mean, the guy's called 'the Kingslayer', I figured he was the scariest guy on the field, and then Robb's all 'we go here, we go there', ba doop ba doop, Kingslayer in a cell, Stark ftw. I was so sure Robb was just going to have his guts spread all over the Riverlands - who would bet on a 15 year old boy who takes his mommy to war with him?

    ReplyDelete
  19. ...dunno, Drogo disobeyed all of the "doctor's orders". You could maybe argue that MMD used psychological trickery to make him rebel against her treatments, but out-and-out poisoning? What good is a poison if it's not even being administered?

    ReplyDelete
  20. AnonyKim, you haven't posted here in a while. Please go away and leave us in peace.

  21. I read it as posioning the first time and every time since, remeber that the wound was but a scratch.
By this chapter I had a gotten into the idea of ignoring the view point characters bias and "look with my eyes".

  23. Skyweir,

Wasn't it Drogo who said it was 'but a scratch'? I remember the description as being something along the lines of practically having his whole nipple cut off, which sounds like more than a scratch to me.

  24. Constantly calling everyone idiots is not really humorous, which I thought was the point of this blog. It would be a lot more entertaining to read if you were making serious observations with a side of humor rather than "Asshai! Get it?!?!"

I know not every entry can be deep and informative but these posts are making it seem more and more like you despise the book and the characters rather than you enjoying your first read and reactions to the events.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I've gone back and forth about whether MMD intentionally caused Drogo's wounds to fester or whether or not that was his own doing. I'm a healthcare worker, so that particular question has always nagged at me.

I'm leaning more toward Drogo being "non-compliant" which caused infection to set in. The idea of "healing" mud on an open wound makes me cringe!

And yes, the wound was pretty considerable in and of itself. The chances of it getting infected even if he had "followed doctor's orders" were probably pretty good.

I am sure you have your own blog wherein you write what you want and how you want. Your readers (if any) enjoy your sense of style and wit and return for more.

You evidently have some problem with this author's approach and sense of humor.

To this I say, keep it to yourself. He's writing his way with his point of view. He enjoys his way of communicating as do most others here.

    Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Just because you have a negative outlook on the characters, doesn't make the story any less compelling.

  29. Yes, it is. Except for the dingleberries.

  30. There is such a thing as 'characters you love to hate'.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Last I checked, GRRM doesn't write the classic "good guy" fantasy where the hero is a noble youth on an eternal watch to preserve his own perfection...emo John is a priceless observation, mocking Dany for being too trusting and Jorah MD's stupidity is dead on. This guy is writing a terrific blog with some keen insight and humor. If you don't like it, go read something else. What makes so much of GRRM's writing so terrific is the lack of perfection from his characters - allowing us to love each character as they are written, while recognizing (and sometimes mocking) their shortcomings. I love Eddard, but upon each re-read, I'm shocked at how horrifically stupid some of his actions were....doesn't mean I don't love the story or the character, but mocking that part of his nature that is his weakness is pretty entertaining, and doing it with this blogger's panache is even better.

  39. For the people who say Dani's age and naivety is a excuse for some of the stupid shit she does, and that she is innocent and has little girl dreams and is really just a Sansa in disguise. I say that's not really an excuse, I mean look how she grew up? Totally opposite of Sansa and her shelterd life. Dani has seen the world for what it is and had to deal with shady ass characters all of her life. Literary she's been all over the country unlike sansa once again. Does this make Dani a wise woman who never messes up NO but it shoots the holes out of she just a "naive little girl" bull-shit. Her perverted brother made sure she knew how to use her body to get what she wants, and she isn't so little and innocent when she is doing Drago doggie stlye now is she? And this manipulative little girl is trying to get Drago and his army to go and kill all the dogs of westeros. I'm sure all little girls think about killing people for a family they had never met? But she is so Innocent(Yeah-Right). While other girls are day dreaming about homosexual-knights (Knight of Flowers) Dani is dreaming about Revenge.

  41. I think Jaime could have defeated the Grey Wind. He's only a wolf, and Jaime is considered an excellent knight and swordsman. It doesn't seem so here, but in later books there's more information about his skills.
And it's quite easy to get captured if he was outnumbered (which he was). In the Silmarillion it happens to Hurin, who gets grappled by the trolls, despite killing 70 of them, because they simply bring him down by sheer numbers. If Jaime were totally surrounded, eventually he would be jumped on or something.

    ReplyDelete
  42. An interesting thing about Dany is that while she's had a harsh life, she also grew up on all the golden, rose-tinted stories about Westeros that her brother told her. So she has an interesting mix of harsh experiences AND naivete.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Meneldur,

Wow, pulling out the Silmarillion, nice reference. But I'm not sure Hurin is the best comparison for Jaime here, because
    *possible spoiler warning*
at which point do they start discussing Jaime's impatience as a weakness? I can't remember if at any time in these books there is an objective evaluation of his abilities, but fighting and warring aren't the same skill set. From the perspective of the Stark camp, he's an impatient hothead who might be hard to defeat in actual combat, but would be easy to outsmart. That's what I find surprising - the fact that this is so obvious to the Northmen but Jaime hasn't been felled by this weakness sooner.

    ReplyDelete
  44. ah, but how many times had jaime actually led an army into war before that battle? there had been no major wars since Robert's Rebellion and he was just a kingslaying teenager back then. it was another one of tywin's (rare) miscalculations, he assumed just cause jaime looked the warrior and leader, he'd make a better one that tyrion

  46. Re: Jaime's experiences at war.

I am not really sure what that consists of. He's fought in wars before, but I don't know if he has very much command experience. Still though, I would think Tywin Lannister would be the last guy to make an idiot move in battle, the impression I got was that he had good reason to give Jaime command of a military force.

    ReplyDelete
  47. jaime is very charismatic, though. His job was to attack which is what he's good at. Tywin's strengths are in defense, which is why Jaime had the troops he did. Oh and yeah tyrion would be better, but his men would never respect him

But I can't blame you - most sociopaths are sociopaths because they know from the start they will never have a sex life, and therefore decide to become hermits.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I dont know about you guys but I felt slightly cheated by the Wispering Wood battle.

I'll try to explain, I thought that such a cool setting and what was to be such a decisive battlle could have been treated with a bit more description.

Instead we saw the battle from its conclusion onwards, forever to be refered to but never to be experienced on a personal level by the reader.

Contrast to this Tyrion's first hand account of his experiences in the Vanguard of Tywin's mighty host and its moderate victory over Roose Bolton.

I cant help but thinking that the only reason for the short changing on the Wispering Wood battle was that GRRM did not have a POV handy to witness it. It it was me... I'd have made it a Jamime chapter... the one and only Jaime chapter of the book.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I can't wait for the next entry!

  52. How would you know that sociopaths don't have a sex life? In fact SEX has nothing to do with being a sociopath, not in the since you are using it for. They in most cases use and see sex as a form of power over others. And also being a hermit doesn't fit here either. So I would suggest you look up what your talking about before you start mouthing bull-shit. Here is a little link that talks about it. Enjoy dumb-ass. mcafee.cc/Bin/sb.html

    ReplyDelete
  53. But so you agree you're a sociopath? And you like overpowering people because you actually have really low self esteem? Coincidentally (or maybe not, in your case), some sorts of serial killers are the same way.

  54. I understand the longing to be right in the whispering woods battle when it happened, and a Jaime chapter would be tempting. However, up to this point we've been exposed to Catelyn and it is fitting that it continue there. I find the contrasting styles of perspective worthwhile. Catelyn was there and could hear and 'feel' the battle around her, and her lack of knowledge of what was actually happening kept that chapter rich in anticipation. You had to wait on pins and needles as Catelyn did until news of the outcome reached her. Something to be said about that.

Sure I was also annoyed at some of the comments, but nothing compares to what you've started.

But back to the original point, saying that he doesn't like the characters because he keeps knocking them is entirely missing the mark. It's just the style of humour. Like when I call my brother a fat bastard by way of greeting when he calls. It doesn't mean I don't like him, it's just that I'm riotously funny. If Jason posted things like "Ned's really great and just and honourable and I really hope things work out for him and he gets a puppy and adopts a troubled ethnic child and his daughter's really sweet and nice and I'm going to go and listen to whale noises while fingering myself", I doubt he'd get as many readers.

  67. Well, back to Jaime as commander/warrior:
As warrior, there is no doubt of his skills, and I'm happy sure most of us agree on that. You don't get knighted by Ser Arthur Dayne at 15 for nothing, and inhis fighting against the Kingswood Brotherhood he held of the Smiling Knight (at 15!), though Arthur Dayne was the one who got to kill him.
As for a commander... I'll agree he didn't have much experience. He would have learned the art of War, but he wouldn't be experienced at it - though admittedly, he defeated Lords Vance and Piper at the pass, and managed to defeat and capture Edmure and his army. I think his main problam here was his cockiness - his main fault, and the fact that he was caught by suprise - not his fault exactly. He couldn't have expected a 15 year old boy to take command of an army and attack him, and as far as he knew, all the army was with Robb attacking Tywin. The point of it was a surprise attack with a fast force, as I recall. So Jaime didn't have good scouts, or didn't set them, and that and his cockiness don't doom him to be a pathetic commander.
    In fact, SPOILERS Ahead!

We see he learns from his mistakes later. When he next commands an army, he sets many outriders and scouts, saying 'I will never be surprised again as Robb Stark surprised me in the Whispering Woods'. This shos he is capable of learning from his mistakes. And his March proceeds without problems. So I'd say he was a good commander as well.

    ReplyDelete
  68. What the hell was wrong with AnnoyKim's last comment? None of her latest comments have been any kind of bad. They just seem like most the other comments on here that aren't just insults.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Meneldur, I don't really think that learning to post outriders is a sign of significant improvement. If half my army got slaughtered because of being taken unawares, I'd raise the paranoia level slightly, too.

But he has shown himself to be resourceful as well as a ruthless negotiator: he got himself out of a bind by lifting the siege at Riverrun, capturing it, and not harming another Tully, all through threats - spoken and unspoken.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Jaime's failing is not lack of experience, it is that to which Martin regularly refers. Jaime is not afraid to die. Every significant action that he takes is driven by it, and his recklessness and lack of patience are directly attributable to it.

    ReplyDelete
  71. So much for respecting Jason's wishes and keeping the blog comments spoiler free.
Give yourselves a nice pat on the back for a job well done.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I'm not saying it's a sign of signifcant improvement, I'm saying that it shows that like a good commander, Jaime can learn from his mistakes, and he isn't a horribly inept commander in the first place. His main fault is his cockiness, as I've said, and after Whispering Wood, he's learned to be less so.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I think - even though Jamie himself never mentions it - he is afraid to die. A conclusive point for this assumption is when Catelyn Tully holds him at swordpoint and makes him swear certain vows. His brush with death suddenly sobered him up, because I doubt a heavily intoxicated Jamie would've remembered all those vows, let alone specifically.

He also did scream when Zollo cut his arm off; he kept telling himself he would not scream, would not scream, silently trying to resolve himself. If he really wasn't afraid, I doubt he'd care.

Everyone values their life extremely, no matter what they say.

  83. He hasn't been reading the comments for a while now (at least according to himself, see his half time report in july), so spoilers most likely aren't a problem. Being a dick, however, very much is.

  84. "I know what hypercritical means..."

Could you tell the rest of us? I imagine it means "really, really critical", but I could be wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I thought it meant 'critical at very high speeds'.

    ReplyDelete
  86. lol

    and

    hy⋅per⋅crit⋅i⋅cal [hahy-per-krit-i-kuhl]
–adjective excessively or meticulously critical; overcritical.

    dictionary.com

I don't get what the mysterious definition of hypercritical that they're talking about is.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Hmmm... last time I checked there was difference in screaming through fear (though not of dying, IIRC, which I always do) and screaming through pain, which cannot be avoided beyond a certain degree. Plus, Jaime's actions give mixed evidence - sometimes he shows himself as willing to die, sometimes his feelings are hard to decipher and could be construed as fear of death (see Aerys). But I think he doesn't fear death. He swore an Oath to Cat because

    a) at the time he had no inclination to fulfil it
    b) it set him free, and thus achieved what he wanted at no personal loss
    c) he loses nothing by agreeing to, or really by adhering to, the Oath. Why die for nothing even if he doesn't fear death

But you are welcome to your interpretation even if I disagree with your logic

    Notice no spoilers here.

  88. "Notice no spoilers here."

Lawl. Your post is not from A Game of Thrones.

  89. Sorry, should have said "no further spoilers here"

  90. Hey Anonykim, good one. Trying to make internet buttbuddies? That's cute.

And dipshit Anonymous: you're talking about how we're "hypercritical" of spoilers, yet we do the same thing. So you tell me - when you juxtapose those two thoughts, what does it seem like you're saying? That complaining about something and then doing it is "hypercritical" or "hypocritical"?

Either way, you seem to be in some sort of vegetative state. Can you tell me where your mental collapse derives from? Even your parents fucking up your DNA can't cause this level of retardation. Did you mix together all the products underneath your sink and consume it?

    ReplyDelete
  91. No you guy's are not really really critical of anything here.(lol) I think the word fits, you fucks would argue and nitpick over the color of jamie's underwear. To Dumb-Ass you know who you are, listen sheman I don't know monkey speech, you obviously did not know what a "sociopath" was and now your having a hard time with "hypercritical"(lol). I wonder how a monkey like you can even read and understand anything in these books?? Do they make a 'SOIAF' for dummy's?? BTW why do you keep bringing up "dirty/smelling vagina's" and "douche bags" did your monkey mamma have one or something? Did she make you taste it? Or are you just trying to be subtle and ease your way out of the closet here on Blogspot? So your not only a dumb-ass who doesn't know what the fuck you are talking about. You are also a Homo-Monkey. Damn I learn more and more about your pathetic sad self every time you post. It must really suck to be you? Seriously sheman I don't know wether to feel sorry for you or to put a bullet in you to put you out of your misery??

    ReplyDelete
  92. My. God. You. Are. All. Idiots.

And don't even get me started on the psychology behind calling someone a "homo-monkey". You are either a massive closet homosexual yourself, or about twelve.

But I don't mean to single people out. All idiots.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Could everyone just PLEASE calm down and resume talking about the blogger's last post, not how stupid everyone else is!!

    ReplyDelete
  94. Who the hell are u to be calling everybody "All idiots"? I don't know who said "homo-monkey" but it was funny as hell, They might be a sick fuck who ever said that? But hey whatever, I read that and just about spit my coffee all over the place. Anyway at least they are keeping it interesting. But I would suggest you take a good look in the mirror before calling anybody a idiot. Hell you just might look like a "homo-monkey" yourself? HAHAHA classic

  95. Any thoughts on if Jaime gets traded for Eddard, that the war with the North ends? I would say no chance in hell, but what if the exchange includes some kind of truce or peace? What kind of terms would Robb accept to get Eddard back?

    - Ser Kevan

    ReplyDelete
  96. Would Tywin even be willing to exchange Eddard for Jaime? I kind of doubt that. Of course, Jaime is his son, but the northmen would benefit from Eddard much more than Lannisters from Jaime. Being the man he is, I'm sure that would be much more important to him.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Seeing how Eddard would never keep to Rob's peace agreement knowing what he know's about the Twincesters. I think he would just go to Stanis? I not going to say anymore about it because I already read the book's and it's hard to explain things without giving away spoilers. But keep in mind Tywin was going to send Ned to the wall.

    ReplyDelete
  98. You guys seem to make it like it's Tywin's decision. I think the primary decision maker in this exchange would be Cersei, pulling (or trying to pull) Joffrey's strings. And assuredly Cersei would pull the trigger on such a swap.
And on the continuing war thought, Eddard is an honorable man. If a bargain is made that ends hostilties between the North and the iron throne contingent on his release and trade. I believe Eddard would adhere to that agreement.

    - Ser Kevan

    ReplyDelete
  99. I agree Eddard is a honorable man. But look how he reacted when he found out that Cersei children was not King Roberts? I don't think he would or could let that slide. There is just no way Eddard would serve Joffrey as King. I mean he knows Joffrey is not the true King and I think Eddard's on honor would not allow that. Besides the point of him being Roberts best friend, he would not set all that aside for any kind of peace I don't think. If he did I think it would be because he would break apart the North from the South so he would not have to serve Joffrey. If they agreed to that for peace he "might" let it go at that to keep peace. Does that all make since?? I tryed to explain it the quickest way I could? Your point about Cersei is true maybe, but there is to many people involved by now for her to get away with it.(even swap) And even if she could, she is a bitch but I wouldn't go as far as calling her stupid. I would rather face a young kid with the North behind him than face Eddard Stark with Stanis and whoever else they would get. But I wouldn't want to face Eddard if it was just the North with him.

  100. Wow, I was really enjoying this blog and have posted a few comments here...but the repeated efforts to fill every post with as many spoilers as possible is ridiculous. If you want to have a discussion like that, go to your own spoiler-inclusive message boards, or get together for some type of loser slumber party where you can stay up all night arguing imaginary military strategy. How hard is it to avoid filling your posts with spoilers, especially those that take place multiple books further along in this series? Sit back and enjoy the blog and take your bickering and whining somewhere else. Please.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Homo-monkey? Really? And then defending yourself using that word as another person who has the exact same prose? Wow, you are a fucking retard. Have you even gone through puberty yet? And yeah, apparently they do make ASOIAF for dummies, the 46.5 chromosome edition people like you order off of e-bay. Us "fucks" would argue over the color of Jaime's underwear, but you're still participating in our "fucks'" discussion. You're still on the same page we fucks go to. How about you get the fuck out of here, because no one wants you here. How about you and AnonyKim go to some dating site and hook up with 2 hermaphrodytes. You seem to really like them. And what's your infatuation with the word homo-monkey? Are you into bestiality too? GRRM should take lessons from you, you could write a book far more fucked up than he has.

Anyway, Mr. "OMFG U GUYS ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT SPOILERS AND THEN DOING THE SAME THING ITS SO HYPERCRITICAL", I think your faggot orgy is waiting for you. I don't wanna keep you too long. Oh, and try to not have your head implode when you read so many four-letter words in the same post.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Whine whine whine waaaaaaaaaaaahh!! I can't anonykim sooooo much. She's CLEARLY the most disruptive person here leaving comments.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Haha. how stupid am I to leave out the word stand. It totally messes up my oomment. I guess ignore it, and let's let the bashing continue. I think it's time for me to start ignoring the comments section anyway, and just wait for the next update.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Or you could just come out with it and admit I verbally raped you.

Maybe you'll get HIV and die.

    ReplyDelete
  105. This comment board has just hit a new low! Too bad there's no way to ban comments from immature trolls like the one 2 posts up.

    ReplyDelete
  106. This is getting ridiculous.
Trolls hide in the land of Anonymity.
    Please ban anonymous posts.

  107. Poor blogger, eh?

I kind of wonder if all the Anons keep getting one another mixed up, calling the wrong Anon names, which pisses off another Anon, and another, and it goes on and on and Anon and Anon...

It's kind of a cool psychological experiment, actually. Watching all the revolutionary reactionaries and their venom. Especially the one that just -despises- AnonyKim.

"yes i agree w/ post and btw anonykim sucks lol"

I need that kind of mortal enemy.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I suspect all the anonymites are just one person who gets way too much enjoyment out of pretending to be more than one person. I envision a lot of hysterical laugther as he/she repeatedly posts as Anonymous, pretending to be a whole group of people.

    As for mortal enemies, feh.

    ReplyDelete
  109. No, I'm pretty sure you're just saying that to reassure yourself that you're not really hated. I mean, what would you do without your internet cronies? Rest assured (or rest petrified would be more fitting), all of us anonymous hate you because you're a fucking hoebag. Go away.

I'm the same Anonymous that posted 2 posts after your first post, for the record.

    ReplyDelete
  110. To the last anonymous -I think most of us here wish you would go away; or at least grow up!

    ReplyDelete
  111. hey kim, any recent ex boyfriend's you have particularly spurred?

    ReplyDelete
  112. I had a girl spur me once, but I'm not generally into that kind of thing so I spurned her.

    ReplyDelete
  113. He's actually kind of funny.

    Or she. It?

    Can we keep it?

    ReplyDelete
  114. What did AnonyKim actually do that (possibly:)) so many people want her to leave??

    ReplyDelete
  115. Hi all,

I'm Jason's buddy and I'm sorry to say that he was in a car accident a few days ago and is in hospital with metal spikes in his leg, and therefore will not be posting again for a while. I trust you all join me in wishing Jason a speedy recovery, and no doubt he will be back to his blogging ways in the near future

    Thx

    ReplyDelete
  116. Ouch. That must hurt. Hope he gets better soon.

    ReplyDelete
  117. That truly is impeccable timing.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Well bring the man his book and a laptop. Hell he should be even more hilarious hopped up on narcotics? JK if it's true Jason best wishes.

    ReplyDelete
  119. He must have drove into GREGOR

    ReplyDelete
  120. Wow that is either the best timing, or the worst. Since he's at the point in the book where most people can't put it down, maybe it's kind of good luck that he has a lot of free time now? On the other hand, these are not the chapters to be reading when you're hopped up on pain killers.

Plus, the whole 'being injured' thing is definitely a bad.

Get well soon Jason, the natives are getting restless!

    ReplyDelete
  121. Wow, that's terrible - get well soon, Jason! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Prayers? LOL. But yes, get well.

    ReplyDelete
  123. This is the real Jason's friend, and he's fine (don't listen to the random poster claiming to be me). He's just busy on vacation and moving into a new place. I know the timing is horrible but I can't tell him "just post about one more chapter!!!" without ruining it for him. I have no idea when he'll actually get around to the next two chapters, but it shouldn't be too long.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Hi all,

I'm Jason's buddy's buddy, and I'm sorry to say that both Jason and his buddy have been taken as sex slaves by the Catholic Church. Jason is now affectionately known as 'Little Jesus', while his buddy is identified only by a low growling noise. I'm sure you all join me in wishing them both a speedy escape, and no doubt Jason will be back to his blogging ways in the near future.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Gregtor:
Well at least that's more likely.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Just read all the posts in one hit and am pissing myself laughing, or should I say, lolling. What a bunch of nuff nuffs!
    Anons you all rock.
Ps Anonykim is the biggest lezomonkey out there.

  128. lmao at the last 20 comments. truly epic

  129. No you're a Homo Monkey.

    ReplyDelete
  130. No you are. I hate AnonyKim

    ReplyDelete
  131. You're a homo, and talking to yourself. Get a life.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Haha, joke got old a while ago fucktard. And by a while ago I mean before you even said it. Fuck off.

    ReplyDelete
  133. What joke? Your sex life? Your "friends"? Your birth?

    I agree: FUCK off.

    ReplyDelete
  134. FUCK! Fuckity fuck fuck. Fuck Fuck! You fuckasauruses!

  135. Hello AnonyKim my name is Dumb-Ass AKA Homo-Monkey would you like to go out on a date? I know you are into "keeping it, in the family and all" but just think of me as your brother from another mother. And maybe just maybe you can break me out of my homo monkeyness. I know I called you a "hoebag" but I was just trying to get your attention.
    Untill you respond
    dumb-ass(homo-monkey)

    ReplyDelete
  136. Seriously, stopit dude. I'm just going to go ahead and assume the last 6 or so posts were all made by the same, obviously mentally disturbed, person.

If you don't have anything constructive to say about the blog, then why are you posting here? Find somewhere else to spam with this nonsense.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Aw lookit. He finally came to realize his hate for AnonyKim was really a secret crush.

Just stop fighting it, guy. Give in to your feelings. It might work out.

    ReplyDelete
  138. haha. "You bring the wine, Ill bring the rohypnol".

    ReplyDelete
  139. I'm pretty convinced at this point that we're seeing some street theater from a single person posting as "Anonymous" pretending he's multiple different anonymous posters and fabricating arguments amongst his various "Anonymous" personas.

    ReplyDelete
  140. For the love of God, the suspense is Killing me!

    ReplyDelete
  141. To be honest here, I'm not sure why everyone is so sure the blogger is going to be blown away by the upcoming chapter. He's taken every other big surprise and plot twist rather cavalierly, and I imagine he will do the same with this one, and probably throw in a dose of humor about it to boot.

Ned ain't exactly his favorite character, you know.

    Roland of Gilead

    ReplyDelete
  142. HELLO! McFLY! ANYBODY HOME?

OK, this has gone on long enough. Our esteemed blogger either fell into a hole or blasted his way through the rest of the book. Probably trying construct a story to pretend he hasn't leafed through the next three books looking for another Eddard chapter.

    ReplyDelete
  143. He was pretty blown about by Bran getting chucked out a window

    ReplyDelete
  144. I seem to recall him making several jokes about Bran's aerial acrobatics in later posts.
